Al-Sadd intensify preparations ahead of Al-Gharafa clash

The Al-Sadd football first team intensified their preparations during Thursday’s training session at the club’s training facility, ahead of the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 3 clash with Al-Gharafa.

The session began at 6:30 PM under the supervision of head coach Jesualdo Ferreira, with the players in high spirits after two good performances in the opening games against Al-Kharaitiyat and Al-Arabi.

Ferreira and his coaching staff made the players work on counter-attacks and quick transitions, something which they have focused on recently, leading to good results.

There was also an emphasis on keeping ball possession in midfield, in addition to crossing practice.

The team is now scheduled to hold their main training session on Friday, with the coaching staff set to decide on their options for the starting lineup.
