Qatar Cup final technical meeting: Al-Sadd to play in white and El-Jaish in maroon

The Qatar Stars League management held on Wednesday morning the technical meeting to decide on the details of the 2017 Qatar Cup final between Al-Sadd and El-Jaish, which will be played on Saturday, April 29.

The meeting was chaired by QSL head of competitions Ahmed Al-Adsani and was attended by Al-Sadd team official Mohammed Saeed Al-Hassan and El-Jaish team manager Rashid Al-Kaabi, in addition to the representative of the referees committee of the Qatar Football Association.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ahmed Al-Adsani welcomed the gathering before going on to congratulate both the teams on reaching the final of the fourth edition of the Qatar Cup.

The participants then went on to discuss the major organizational details of the competition, including pre-match schedule, team kits and entry gates.

After the selection of the team kits, Al-Sadd will now wear their all-whie kit for the final whereas El-Jaish will be playing in their maroon kit.

It was also repeated that the match would proceed to penalties in case of a draw at the end of 90 minutes, without playing extra time. Both teams were also reminded of the need to have 60 minutes of playing time, as per the QSL’s campaign “Play 60 minutes”.

The referees representative also reminded the teams of the need to cooperate with the referees who will take charge of the match.
