Pedro: We are determined to defeat Al-Arabi

Al-Sadd full back Pedro Miguel spoke of his side’s determination to win tomorrow’s match against Al-Arabi, in the postponed Round 5 game of the QNB Stars League.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of the game, Pedro said: “A difficult game awaits us and it’s a great derby. For us players, it is like a final and we must be focused until the 90th minute.”

Pedro added: “We cannot put the last defeat down as due to exhaustion. We controlled possession against Al-Wakra but we did not score. In tomorrow’s match, we are determined to win against Al-Arabi.”

He continued: “We defenders made small mistakes due to which we conceded goals, including some ridiculous ones. From tomorrow’s game onwards, we will work on not making mistakes and we will be highly focused. Everything will change from the Al-Arabi match.”
