Mohammed Ghanem: Happy with the 67th title, Al-Sadd fans are the real champions

Al-Sadd head of football Mohammed Ghanem expressed his gratitude to all the Al-Sadd fans for standing with the team throughout the season and especially in the Emir Cup final, in which the Wolves defeated Al-Rayyan 2-1 to clinch the title.

Speaking to the media after the game, he said: “I am happy with the win, the 67th title in the club’s history and the 16th Emir Cup title.” He added that Al-Sadd fully deserved the win after an intense and difficult game.

The head of football also described the Al-Sadd fans as the “true champions”, saying: “The Al-Sadd fans are the true champions after what the team achieved today – winning the prestigious title in the presence of HH the Emir.”
