Meshaal Barsham: My chance came at a crucial time

Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham stressed on the need to win in the upcoming game against Umm Salal in the QNB Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Barsham said: “We are motivated for this match, which we expect to be tough, as Umm Salal are strong. But we will focus on the performance that we will put up. We hope fortune will be on our side and we hope we can get the three points.”

The youngster also pointed out that he got his chance in the first team at a very crucial juncture. “I got my chance to play in the first team at a very crucial time for me. I strove hard to give my best; sometimes mistakes happen but it is an opportunity to learn and develop so as to reach higher levels in the future.”
