Kasola: Al-Arabi match will be exciting for the fans; the league is not over yet

Al-Sadd defender Mohammed Kasola spoke of his expectations ahead of his side’s derby clash against Al-Arabi in Round 8 of the Qatar Stars League, saying that the match was bound to be hard fought and exciting for the fans.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Kasola said: “It’s a really difficult and important match for us. Al-Arabi are not in a good situation but they will give their best against us, especially as the derbies between Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi always see a lot of competition and rivalry.”

He went on to add: “There are a lot of matches ahead of us in the league and the gap between us and the leaders is 4 points. We have to keep that in mind and work towards returning to our level in order to compete for the title.”

Asked about the goals conceded by Al-Sadd recently, Kasola pointed out that football has a lot of variables and that it’s important to do the best one can. “This is footbal and in the game, sometimes you score and sometimes you concede. We need to learn from our mistakes in order to improve in the next phase.”
