Ibrahim Majid: Al-Ahli will be tough; we need to focus to win

Al-Sadd defender Ibrahim Majid has spoken of the difficulty of the upcoming Qatar Stars League Round 2 game against Al-Ahli.

Speaking to the official club website after Wednesday’s main training session, Ibrahim said: “The match will be difficult for both teams considering the strong desire of both to continue with the good form and to register a second win in the league.”

The Al-Sadd defender also stated that the match was crucial for the Wolves in order to show their readiness. He also pointed to Al-Ahli’s strong performance in the win over Al-Gharafa, making them one of the most prominent teams in Round 1.

Ibrahim added: “Al-Ahli achieved a great victory over Al-Gharafa, scoring four goals and we did the same over our opponent. We have equal points and are joint top with other teams. So we need to be careful and focused in order to give our best.”

He concluded by saying: “We need to overcome our mistakes which happened in the Al-Kharaitiyat game despite the big win, so that we can continue the good work and get the second win.”
