Al-Sadd sign partnership agreement with Qatar Airways

Al-Sadd SC is pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with Qatar Airways, thereby making the airline the official partner for our football first team in the AFC Champions League.

This agreement will see the Al-Sadd players wear the Qatar Airways logo on their jerseys during their matches in Asia’s premier club tournament.

Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker spoke of his pride after signing the agreement with Al-Sadd. “Qatar Airways is the national airline of Qatar. We are proud to appear alongside Al-Sadd, which is the most successful club in the country,” he said, while also stressing that “sport is a way to bring society together and it also helps to develop team work.”

“Qatar Airways always looks to bring people together and encourage competitive spirit,” added Al Baker. “We are looking forward to supporting Al-Sadd during their participation in the 2018 AFC Champions League.”

For his part, Al-Sadd general manager Turki Al Ali expressed his gratitude to Qatar Airways, describing the airline as the world’s best and thanking the company for their cooperation and support for the club.

“Today is an important day for Al-Sadd, as we sign a partnership agreement with Qatar Airways, the best airline in the world,” said Al Ali.

“There is no doubt that this partnership with Qatar Airways is the fulfilment of a goal that we have had at Al-Sadd for quite some time now. We were looking for a strategic partner that excels with a professional vision in sponsoring and investing in sport.”
