Al-Sadd stars intensify training
The team was in high spirits during Tuesday’s session, with all the players looking to compete for a starting spot in the Muaither game.
The coaching staff, led by Jesualdo Ferreira, implemented the training routine and the focus was on physical training consisting of endurance and running drills. Later, the players moved on to training with the ball with excercises to train one-touch play and pressurizing the opponent.
Light training for the reserves
The reserve team players underwent recovery training under the supervision of reserve team manager Hesham Zahed, following the 3-3 draw with Al-Rayyan reserves during their QatarGas League Round 3 match played on Monday.
Spirits rise as Al-Sadd look to return to winning ways
The Wolves will now look to return to winning ways after drawing their last game in the Qatar Stars League with Lekhwiya. That result, added to the consecutive wins in the opening two rounds, gave Al-Sadd a tally of 7 points which puts them in third place in the league table, behind El-Jaish and Lekhwiya.
