Al-Sadd holds main session to prepare for Al-Arabi

Amidst an atmosphere of great spirits, the Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session on Thursday evening to prepare for the upcoming QSL Round 8 game against Al-Arabi, which will be played on Saturday at the Grand Hamad Stadium.

Al-Sadd look for the win

The Wolves go into the match sitting in second place in the league standings with 15 points and looking to return to winning ways after drawing their last match 1-1 with Al-Wakrah.

As for Al-Arabi, they are in 11th place with 6 points.

Technical meeting with the players

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira held a technical meeting with the players before the session began, talking to them about the importance of being focused in order to clinch the game and make amends for the draw with Al-Wakrah, especially as the fans are expecting a win.

Selecting the lineup

The coaching staff used Thursday’s session to focus on certain tactics that will be employed against Al-Arabi in order to help select the most suitable lineup for the game.

Hamed returns and features prominently

Hamed Ismail made a successful return to training, featuring prominently in Thursday’s session after missing the last game against Al-Wakrah due to illness.

Excellent support from the management

The Al-Sadd management showed their support for the team ahead of the derby against Al-Arabi, with a number of officials attending the training session, including club VP Nasser Mubarak Al-Ali, Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali and Deputy Head of Football Jaffal Rashed Al-Kuwari.
