Meanwhile, the first team held their final pre-match practice session at the club’s training pitch on Monday evening to conclude their preparations for the clash with Persepolis.

The coaching staff implemented physical and technical training drills, in addition to simple games designed to improve movement.

At the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man matchday squad for the game: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Yasir Abubakar, Pedro Miguel, Baghdad Bounedjah, Xavi, Morteza Pouraliganji, Khoukhi Boualem, Hamid Ismail, Jugurtha Hamroun, Ali Asad, Ali Ferydoon, Abdelkarim Hassan, Akram Afif, Musab Kheder, Salem Al-Hajri, Hassan Ahmed and Ahmed Suhail.

The squad announcement saw the return of Khoukhi Boualem and Jugurtha Hamroun after they recovered from injuries.

Later, the squad left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha hotel, where they are scheduled to stay until the time of departure for the match on Tuesday.
