Al-Sadd star Hassan Al-Haydos spoke of his side having learned lessons from earlier games, ahead of the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 13 match against Al-Shahania, which will be played on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Al-Haydos said: “Tomorrow’s match against Al-Shahania is an important one, during which we seek to win and get the three points, with the help of our experience this season and the lessons that we got from teams like Qatar and Al-Wakrah. As players, we must have a reaction in such matches.”
He continued: “The match will not be easy, Al-Shahania will come into the game with great enthusiasm to give their best level and produce a good result.”
Al-Haydos also said: “Our goal is to compete for the league title until the last game, we know that things are not in our hands, but we will give our best to stay in the competition.”
Al-Sadd player added: “Al-Shahania will play in a defensive manner, and in return, we must have a strong reaction, especially on the offensive level, and take advantage of the number of chances to win.”
Al-Haydos concluded by saying: “In the middle of the first phase, we lost points that we should not have lost, and now there is no room for losing any more points in the next matches.”
