AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd conclude preparations ahead of Al-Duhail clash
The Al-Sadd football first team concluded their preparations for the ucpoming AFC Champions League Round of 16 first leg against Al-Duhail, which is set to be played at the Al-Janoub Stadium on Tuesday.
The team held their final training session at the venue on Monday evening, focusing on physical fitness while also working on certain light technical drills and movement exercises without the ball. Later, the players were divided into two teams, who faced off in a practice mini-game.
At the end of the session, Xavi announced the 18-man matchday squad for the game, which is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Ahmed Sayyar, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Abdulaziz Al-Ansari, Hassan Al-Haydos, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamed Ismail, Gabi, Tarek Salman, Khoukhi Boualem, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Nam Tae-hee, Jung Woo-young, Pedro Miguel, Hashim Ali.
The team then left for an overnight camp at the Torch hotel, from where they will leave for the game tomorrow.
