Tarek Salman: We are excited for the start of the season

Al-Sadd star Tarek Salman spoke about the team’s excitement, ahead of the season opener against Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Tarek said: “Tomorrow’s match is huge. We prepared well for it, during training and at the pre-season camp in Spain, with a new coach who has a new philosophy and way of thinking. We had a good period with our former coach Ferreira. Hopefully, this season will also be an excellent season for us with our new coach Xavi.”

He added: “We are really excited and full of spirit as we look to give our best this season. We have many goals to achieve this season and hopefully it will a great one.”
