Al-Sadd Handball lose to Taubate of Brazil 24-32

Al-Sadd Handball team lost 24-32 to the Brazilian team Taubate in the 2015 IHF Super Globe 5th place playoff match played on Tuesday at the Duhail Arena.
The Brazilian team succeeded in taking control of the match from the beginning, securing a first half lead of 15 – 11 before its brilliance continued in the second. Despite attempts from Al-Sadd to come back, the second half ended with the score at 32 – 24 in favour of the Brazilians. Al-Sadd is now due to face Tunisian side Club Africain in the match to decide seventh and eighth placed teams.
