Xavi presented with Player of the Month award for February

Al-Sadd midfielder Xavi Hernandez was presented with the club’s February Player of the Month award prior to the training session which took place on Wednesday evening at the training pitch.

Xavi was presented with the accolade by head coach Jesualdo Ferreira and sporting director Mohammed Gholam, in the presence of the rest of the team, who applauded the Spaniard for his achievement.

The award was given to Xavi after he won a fan vote on the club’s official Instagram page.

Baghdad Bounedjah had earlier won the award for September and October while his countryman Jugurtha Hamroun triumphed in November. Goalkeeper Saad Al-Dosari picked up the title in December while Ali Asad did so in January.
