Turki Al Ali leads Al-Sadd delegation on AFC Champions League trip to Dubai
The Al-Sadd football first team delegation will leave for Dubai, UAE via Muscat on Sunday, ahead of the upcoming AFC Champions League Group C game against Al-Wasl (UAE) on Matchday 1 of the tournament, which will be played at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai on February 12.
The 20-member squad travelling to Dubai is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Abdelkarim Hassan, Morteza Pouraliganji, Baghdad Bounedjah, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Sohail, Hassan Al-Haydos, Ali Asad, Akram Afif, Salem Al-Hajri, Xavi Hernandez, Musab Kheder, Jugurtha Hamroun, Hamed Ismail, Yasser Abubakar, Bahaa Al Lithi, Ali Ferydoon, Jehad Mohammed.
Al-Sadd general manager Turki Al Ali will lead the delegation and he will be accompanied by sporting director Mohammed Gholam Al-Baloushi, first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik, first team officer Mohammed Saeed, U23 team manager Abdulaziz Al-Jeaidi and technical supervisor Ali Faraj Al-Ghanem.
Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira will lead the coaching staff, which consist of assistant coach Nuno Miguel, fitness coach Jose Pedro, technical analyst Pedro Antonio, goalkeeping coach Luca Squinzani and performance analyst Ibrahim Boughanemi. Also on the delegation are team doctor Mohammed Soltani, physiotherapists Hussain Al Manae and Akram Obaid, masseurs Admir and Ritchie, club website representatives Samir Shawqy and Mina Fayiz and helpers Abdulmalik Waheed, Musa Butan and Laris Miah.
Al-Sadd will hold their last training in Doha from 11 AM on Sunday, before leaving for Hamad International Airport at 4 PM to fly to Muscat and then Dubai.
The draw for the AFC Champions League has pitted Al-Sadd alongside Al-Wasl (UAE), Persepolis (Iran) and Nasaf (Uzbekistan) in Group C.
