Technical coordination meeting reveals details of HH the Emir’s Cup
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) held a technical coordination meeting at its headquarters at Al Bidda Tower, to explain the organizational details of the upcoming HH the Emir’s Cup 2018.
The meeting was chaired by QFA competitions director Humood Al-Nuaimi and was attended by representatives of the 16 participating teams. Al-Sadd was represented by first team official Abdulaziz Al-Jeaidi.
Al-Nuaimi began the meeting by wishing the best of luck to all the participating teams, before going on to the agenda. The attendees were briefed about accreditation and also the tournament’s format, which will see drawn matches head to penalties after 90 minutes, without an extra time period.
Also, the referees representative spoke about the need to cooperate with the referees and the need for all players to accept the refereeing decisions.
Furthermore, the attendees discussed several important details such as pre-match schedules, while respective team kits were also allotted for every team.
