Tarek Salman: We have to play against Al-Ahli like we did against Al-Hilal

Al-Sadd defender Tarek Salman spoke of the difficulty of his side’s upcoming game against Al-Ahli in the QNB Stars League, and stressed on the need to play the game like they did against Al-Hilal in the Champions League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Tarek said: “Al-Ahli are a strong side and they play well. Their style of play is a lot like Al-Sadd’s and this means that we need to be at our best if we are to win this game.”

He added: “The difficulty of this game is because of the fact that it’s a different game from the one we played against Al-Hilal and as players, we feel differently. But I think we are spirited and the performance we put up against Al-Hilal will be a boost for us to continue with the same performance and the same path. The season is long and we need to work to win every game.”
