Talal returns while Khalfan misses out on Al-Sadd squad

Al-Sadd football first team concluded its preparation for the upcoming game against Al-Rayyan with a final training session at the training pitch on Saturday evening. The match is set to kick off at 8:30 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The coaching staff focused on implementing the physical conditioning programme in addition to certain light technical drills and reaction exercises. Later, the players were divided into two groups for a practice match.

The head coach Jesualdo Ferreira then announced the squad for the match against Al-Rayyan. The 18-man list is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Nadir Belhadj, Xavi, Morteza Pouraliganji, Gaser Yahya, Nasser Ibrahim, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Qasim, Talal Al-Baloushi, Ali Asad, Abdelkarim Hassan, Salem Al-Hajri, Baghdad Bounedjah.

After the session, the team left for a closed camp at the Grand Heritage Hotel, which will last until the time of departure for the match.​
