Sayyar ruled of Al-Sadd squad, Khoukhi and Al-Hajri return

The Al-Sadd matchday squad for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 9 game against Al-Duhail, which was announced on Thursday evening, witnessed the return of Khoukhi Boualem and Salem Al-Hajri after they both missed the last games due to injury.

Young midfielder Ahmed Bader Sayyar will be absent from the Al-Duhail game after he missed the last two training sessions due to illness.

The Al-Sadd coaching staff held the final training session on Thursday night and made the players undergo light technical training, in addition to reaction drills, which was followed by a small-sided practice game.

At the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 19-man squd for the game: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barshim, Musab Kheder, Hussain Behzad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Ahmed Sohail, Yasser Abubakar, Hassan Ahmed, Jugurtha Hamroun, Xavi Hernandez, Salem Al-Hajri, Baghdad Bounedjah, Morteza Pouraliganji, Khoukhi Boualem, Hatem Kamal, Ayoob Mashhoor, Fahad Shanin and Ali Asad.

Later, the squad left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha hotel, from they will depart for the stadium on Friday.
