He added: “I hope that I will be up to the challenge, overcome this and return to the pitch as per schedule.”

Regarding his brilliant performance in recent matches, Salem said: “Praise be to God, I gave a good display, as a result of the cooperation between the players and the coaching staff. I think that every player in the team had a role during the previous games. The team is currently progressing steadily in the league championship and the Amir Cup.”

Salem also spoke about the Wolves’ upcoming challenge in the Champions League, saying: “The team is heading towards an important Asian challenge, and the start will be against Al-Nassr in Riyadh. All the players have a great responsibility to return with a positive result.”

Salem concluded his talk to the club’s website by saying: “Praise be to God, for everything. I thank everyone who supported me, and I will strive to get through this stage with all my strength, in order to begin the path of my return to the pitch.”
