Saad Al-Dosari returns to Al-Sadd squad to face Al-Gharafa, Abdulkarim misses out
Al-Sadd’s matchday squad for the game against Al-Gharafa witnessed the return of goalkeeper Saad Al-Dossari after he recovered from the elbow injury which had kept him away from action during the last match against Esperance in the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Al-Sadd goalkeeper had suffered an elbow injury during the match against Monterrey of Mexico, in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Al-Sadd is now preparing to face Al Gharafa in the QNB Stars League Week 11 game which will be held on Monday evening at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in Al Gharafa Club.
Al-Sadd go into the game in fourth place with the table with 15 points, with two matches remaining against Al-Arabi and Al-Khor, while Al-Gharafa are in third place with 20 points.
The Olympic team trio of Tariq Salman, Meshaal Barsham and Hashem Ali are absent from the squad, as they will join the national team, while left back Abdulkarim Hassan will miss the match because of his sending off in the last game against Esperance at the Club World Cup.
The squad for the Al-Gharafa match consists of 18 players: Saad Al-Dossari, Yousef Abdullah, Pedro Miguel, Hamed Ismail, Khoukhi Boualem, Jung Woo-young, Salem Al-Hajri, Gabi, Ali Asad, Akram Afif, Baghdad Bounedjah, Nam Tae-hee, Hassan Al-Haydos, Rami Suhail, Mustafa Tariq, Talal Behzad, Hussain Behzad, Faisal Abdullah
After the end of Sunday’s final training session, the Wolves moved to the Torch hotel, where they will stay overnight until the time of departure for the game.
