QatarGas League: Bounedjah hat-trick helps Al-Sadd to 5-3 win over Al-Khor

Baghdad Bounedjah led the Al-Sadd U23 team to a 5-3 win over Al-Khor in the QatarGas League Round 16 matc played on Monday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The result means that Al-Sadd raise their tally to 22 points in the league table, with a game in hand against Al-Shahaniya.

Bounedjah opened the scoring with a 7th minute penalty before Adel Ahmed equalised for Al-Khor in the 28th minute. Abdullah Nasser added a second goal for Al-Khor two minutes later, giving his side a 2-1 lead. Gabi then levelled for Al-Sadd in the 40th minute.

In the second half, Bounedjah scred twice to put Al-Sadd 4-2 in front, before Meshaal Al Suwaidi reduced the deficit for Al-Khor. Hassan Ahmed then put the result beyond doubt with his goal in added time, which gave Al-Sadd a 5-3 win.

Al-Sadd started with the following lineup: Jehad Mohammed, Hussain Bahzad, Mahmoud Nasser, Hatem Kamal, Yasir Abubakar, Gabi, Tareq Meshaal, Adam Faisal, Meshaal Ibrahim, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hassan Ahmed.

Khaled Al Yazidi, Talal Ibrahim and Ibrahim Al Saeed came on as second-half substitutes.
