Pouraliganji: We will be focused, our aim is to win

Al-Sadd defender Morteza Pouraliganji spoke of how crucial it is for his side to win the upcoming game against Al-Khor in Round 22 of the Qatar Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Pouraliganji also pointed out that the Al-Sadd players are facing a huge challenge in every match.

He said: “The Al-Khor match will be really difficult. We know very well that facing Al-Khor match at their home will not be easy. We have 5 finals ahead of us and we will play them with a lot of focus in order to get all the points and win the league.”

The Al-Sadd defender added: “Al-Khor is looking to avoid relegation and Al-Sadd is looking to win the league. And so the match is very crucial and we need to win it to add 3 more points to our campaign.”

Pouraliganji also said: “The players are up against a big challenge in the next 5 matches. Al-Sadd have players who have experience and also players who are young who will perform their best in the coming matches.”
