Al-Sadd goalkeeper Muhannad Naim spoke to the media after the 3-2 win over Al-Sailiya and said that the result was an important one. He stated that Al-Sailiya had put Al-Sadd in a crisis after scoring two goals in the first half.

Speaking after the match, Muhannad said: “Al-Sailiya put us in a crisis in the first half despite dominating the proceedings. But Hassan Al-Haydos scored to bring the team back into the game which gave us confidence to make it up and score the second and third goals that won us the match.”

The keeper also added that the team is up against two important matches against Al-Rayyan and El Jaish at the end of the league, saying: “We have two crucial matches ahead of us against Al-Rayyan and El-Jaish in the last two rounds of the league. After reaching second spot, we are going to work hard to give our best in order to keep hold of the position.”
