Meshaal Al-Shammari: No option but to win in order to continue ascent

Al-Sadd forward Meshaal Al-Shammari spoke to the media at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday, ahead of Thursday’s QNB Stars League Round 11 game against Al-Kharaitiyat.

Al-Shammari said: “The game against Al-Kharaitiyat is tough. The team which plays Al-Sadd always comes up with all their strength and so, we need to prepare well for the game. Our aim is to get the three points in order to continue our ascent to the top.”

He added: “Of course, Bounedjah’s absence will have an effect on the team. But all the players have the desire and determination to get the win. I have been working hard recently in order to make it into the starting lineup.”
