Khoukhi: This is a big test, we will show our real level

Al-Sadd first team player Khoukhi Boualem has spoken of the importance of his side’s upcoming clash with Al-Gharafa in Round 3 of the QNB Stars League, which will be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the team’s main training session on Wednesday, Khoukhi said: “This match will be intense and it’s going to be difficult for both teams. We consider this a big test for the team after we got 6 points in the first two games against Al-Markhiya and Al-Sailiya.”

The summer signing also promised that the Al-Sadd players would be at their best when they come up against Al-Gharafa. “We will be at our true level against Al-Gharafa, especially as this match will require us to give 100% in order to win the three points. We need that to stay on top and in competition for the title alongside the other teams.”

Khoukhi concluded by saying: “The match will be played at our hime and I hope the Al-Sadd fans will support us and stand with us so that we can get our third straight victory.”
