Khoukhi: It was an intense match, I am happy to win my first trophy on my debut

Al-Sadd’s new signing Khoukhi Boualem spoke of his delight after the team’s triumph in the Sheikh Jassim Cup final and said that ‘the players managed to perform well against a strong team like Al-Duhail to get the first title of the season.’

Speaking after the match, Boualem said: “The match was very intense. We managed to perform our best and score two goals in the first half which gave us a lot of confidence. After that, we moved to a balance between offence and attack which helped us get the four-goal victory.”

Boualem was particularly happy about making his official debut for the Wolves and winning his first trophy with the team. “I am happy to make my debut and win my first trophy with the team. This will increase my confidence and help me fit into the team better as we prepare for the upcoming challenges,” said the player.
