Internationals to return on Thursday, rest on Friday

Al-Sadd’s Qatari international players are set to return to the club for training on Thursday, after a period of rest which followed their participation at the 23rd Gulf Cup in Kuwait.

This group consists of Saad Al-Dosari, Hassan Al-Haydos, Musab Kheder and Pedro Miguel.

Meanwhile, five other Al-Sadd players – Meshaal Barsham, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Ahmed Sohail, Salem Al-Hajri and Hashim Abdullatif – have joined the Qatar U23 squad which will take part at the AFC U23 Championship in China.

On Wednesday, the Al-Sadd first team held a training session at the Aspire Academy grounds, with the coaching staff looking to improve fitness levels ahead of the start of the second phase of the QNB Stars League.

The players are now scheduled to have a day off as rest on Friday before returning to training again on Saturday at the club’s training facility.
