Ibrahim Majid: We dedicate this win to our fans who always stood behind us

Al-Sadd defender Ibrahim Majid spoke of his happiness after his side’s 2-0 win over El-Jaish in the Emir Cup semifinal and dedicated the victory to the club’s fans.

Ibrahim said: “We dedicate this victory to the Al-Sadd fans who always stood behind us. As for the match, the team wasn’t focused in the first half. But we held on defensively and kept a clean sheet despite the pressure from El-Jaish.”

“We were surprised in the start but we managed to overcome it and return better in the second half, getting a grip over the match.”

He went on to add: “The atmosphere is going to be great at the Khalifa Stadium. We hope both teams will put up a good match worthy of the occasion.”
