Hossam Kamal: A difficult match awaits us against Al-Ahli

Al-Sadd defender Hossam Kamal spoke of the readiness of his side ahead of the upcoming clash against Al-Ahli in Round 19 of the QNB Stars League.

In his remarks at the pre-match press conference, Hossam said: “A difficult match against Al-Ahli awaits us. Thanks to God, we got a positive result in the last game, with the win over Al-Khor, which is a great motivation for us to provide a better level in front of a stubborn opponent, and we hope to appear at a good level and in a way that satisfies everyone.”

He added: “The Al Khor match was the first for us after the long break; we faced some difficulties. Al-Khor was very strong in defence and we could have lost the game, but with the players’ resolve and determination, we were able to win, despite conceding that late penalty. The most important thing is that we got the three points.”

“The stoppage of the league was a minor thing, all the clubs dealt with it, so it can’t be an excuse. Thanks to God, we were able to win the last game and we now have to work hard during the coming period to reach our best levels.”
