Ferreira: The result is fair, we did not play in our normal manner

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira expressed his full satisfaction with his team’s performance in the 2-2 draw with Pakhtakor in the 2019 AFC Champions League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Ferreira said: “As I said in the pre-match press conference, the match would be tough. The result was fair, considering the performance of the players. We were better than Pakhtakor in the second half and it was possible to clinch the game in our favour, with the chances we got.”

He added: “We did not play in our normal manner. We had some good things going in defence which helped us achieve this result, which in my opinion is a fair result.”
