Ferreira and Afif chosen as the league’s best coach and player, Bounedjah crowned as top scorer

he Al-Sadd trio of Akram Afif, Baghdad Bounedjah and coach Jesualdo Ferreira were all honoured at the Qatar Football Association’s 2018-19 end-of-season awards ceremony, which was held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, in the presence of coaches, players, team representatives and officials from QFA and QSL, in addition to several other guests.

Ferreira was awarded as the Best Coach for the season, ahead of the other nominees Sami Trabelsi of Al-Sailiyah and Jose Murcia of Al-Shahania.

Afif was then selected as the Best Player, ahead of Al-Duhail’s Almoez Ali. Finally, Baghdad Bounedjah was officially crowned as the QSL’s top scorer, after netting a record 39 goals in the 2018-19 season.
