Fahad Shanin: Excited to play in my first Clasico, it will be difficult

Al-Sadd player Fahad Shanin spoke of his delight in having a chance to play in the game against Al-Rayyan in the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 6 game, which is set to be played on Friday.

Speaking to the media before the start of Wednesday’s main training session, Fahad said: “I am happy and excited to make my first appearance in the Qatar Clasico. Of course, I hope to help my teammates to get the win and the three points.”

“The match is going to be difficult for both teams, especially as both teams have the necessary weapons to win. I hope all Al-Sadd players will be at their best.”

Fahad went on to send a message to the Al-Sadd fans: “I hope the Al-Sadd fans will support us in the Clasico; they are our biggest pillar of our successes.”
