Estad Al Doha honours their 2019 Player of the Year Akram Afif

Akram Afif received a special honour from the Estad Al Doha newspaper, on the occasion of winning the award for the best Qatari player for the year 2019, after a poll conducted by the publication.

The award was presented to Afif by former Qatar national team star Mubarak Mustafa in the presence of Al-Sadd coach Xavi Hernandez and the players of the first team, before the start of Thursday’s training session, in which the team is preparing for the final of the Qatar Cup against Al-Duhail.

Akram Afif expressed his happiness at winning the award for second consecutive year, which he said “came as a result of the efforts of the entire team during the past year.” He added that he hopes to continue to work in the same manner and develop further during the upcoming period.
