The disciplinary committee at the Qatar Football Association, headed by Mr. Hassan Al-Hammadi, has announced on Wednesday afternoon the list of decisions taken in response to the match reports from Round 19 of the Qatar Stars League.

Al-Sadd and its players are involved in the following cases:

1- Al-Sadd deputy head of football Mr. Jafal Rashed Al-Kuwari has been suspended for a month from the date of announcement and has been fined a sum of QR 20,000 as a result of expressing insulting comments towards the refereeing of the match as per articles 49/2 and 48/1/4 of the disciplinary charter for the 2016/17 season. He will have to surrender his accreditation card to the QFA.

2- The player Baghdad Bounedjah has been suspended for one match after he received a second yellow card in the game against Al-Shahaniya and he has also been fined QR 15,000 as a result of unsportsmanlike behaviour, as per articles 9 and 44 of the disciplinary charter.

3- The player Ibrahim Majid has been suspended for a month – starting from today – from all competitions run by the QFA. He has also been fined QR 50,000 for verbally abusing and insulting the referees in the match against Al-Shahaniya and this is as per the article 48/1/4 of the disciplinary charter.

4- Al-Sadd Club’s attention is drawn to one of its fans who waved currency notes – which is a clear insult to the game of football – and also the behaviour of its player Mohammed Kasola. This is as per article 63/1 of the disciplinary charter.
