Bounedjah: The goal came on its time; I was waiting for it

Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah spoke of the importance of the winning goal which he scored against Al-Kharaitiyat in the QSL Round 22 match played on Friday.

In an exclusive chat with the club website, Bounedjah said: “The goal came at its own time; I was waiting for it impatiently in this match, which is only the second for me after my return from injury. I am very happy that the goal gave the team the win and three important points in the league campaign.”

The Algerian striker also added: “I am 80% ready and I will work hard in training to reach full readiness in order to help the team get more wins and to always give my best, with the harmony that I have been able to achieve with the rest of the players and the coaching staff recently.”
