Bounedjah: Happy with the win; we won’t waste our chance now

Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah believes that his team’s 7-0 win over Al-Arabi in Round 21 of the Qatar Stars League was an important and deserved result.

Speaking to the media after the match, Bounedjah said: “It was a huge and deserved victory. I am happy to help my team by scoring 5 goals and reaching the top of the Qatar Stars League. Al-Sadd will not waste this opportunity and will give their best in the remaining matches in order to clinch the title.”

The top scorer also said: “The match was difficult but we managed to open the scoring in the first few minutes after our good performance and our ability to quickly move from defence to attack.”

Bounedjah also added that the Wolves are fully capable of winning their last 5 matches which will prove to be crucial.
