Bounedjah: Happy with my performance against Lekhwiya

​Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah expressed his satisfaction with the performance he delivered in the 3-2 win over Lekhwiya during the QSL Round 23 match.

Speaking after the match, Bounedjah said: “We are happy with the win and the three points we got from this tought match against Lekhwiya. I also feel really happy with my personal performance after I was able to regain much of my abilities gradually. I created the first goal and also won a penalty. This is a good thin as far as I am concerned and it pushes me on to give more during the upcoming period.”

The Al-Sadd attacker added: “I hope I can reach full fitness and help Al-Sadd to reach a good position in the league. There is also the Qatar Cup and the Emir Cup, for which we have ambition to win. We need to continue to work hard to realize them.”
