Ayoob: This is a great opportunity for the young players

Al-Sadd’s Ayoob Mashhoor believes that the youngsters in the team should be prepared to grab their opportunity in the upcoming clash with Umm Salal in the QNB Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Round 8 game, Ayoob said referred to Umm Salal as a “good and experienced team” and said that Al-Sadd are aiming to defeat them.

“During the league break, we were able to get back some of the injured players and they will be a great motivation for the team. Our aim is to give our best to win and satisfy our fans,” said Ayoob.

As for the participation of a number of young players, Ayoob expressed his gratitiude for the trust placed in the youngsters by the coach.

“We can’t put a price to the trust placed in us by the coach. We have to use this opportunity and give our best in every game that we play. Also, we have to benefit from big players in the team such as Xavi; we can learn a lot from the experience they have.”
