Al-Sadd welcome Trabzonspor delegation

Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor were given a cordial welcome in Doha by officials of Al-Sadd Club after their arrival at the Hamad International Airport on Saturday afternoon. Trabzonspor are set to face Al-Sadd in a friendly game on Sunday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The Trabzonspor delegation was welcomed at the airport by Al-Sadd public relations officer Hamdan Al Jarjawi, who helped ensure a smooth entry procedure for the entire squad at the airport before the move to their hotel. The delegation consists of 36 members and are led by club president Muharrem Usta and head coach Senol Gunes.

The Turkish team will hold a training session from 8 PM tonight at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

After Sunday’s friendly, Trabzonspor will return to Turkey to resume domestic action with a league game against Akhisar on 15 October.

Trabzonspor will play the friendly game without its international players who are away with their respective national teams during the international break.
