Al-Sadd to begin preparations for 2019/20 season on Sunday

The Al-Sadd first team will launch their preparations for the upcoming 2019-20 season at 7 PM on Sunday at the club’s training facility. All players except the internationals are set to be present, as the latter have been given an extended break until July 14.

The team will train in Doha before leaving for the overseas training camp, which is scheduled to be held in Girona, Spain, from 14-29 July. The camp will include friendly games as the team look to get in shape and prepare for the resumption of competitive action in August.

Al-Sadd’s first three games of the season are against the same opposition – Al Duhail. The two teams will face off first in the AFC Champions League Round of 16, with the first leg on August 6 and the second leg on August 13. Then, they will play each other again in the Super Cup final on August 17.
