Al-Sadd set to travel to Austria on July 12 for pre-season camp

The Al-Sadd football first team squad is set to travel to Austria next month for the 2018-19 pre-season training camp, which is set to take place between the 12th and 28th of July.

During the camp, the team will play three friendlies to prepare for the new season. The matches are set to be played on the 19th, 23rd and 27th of July.

The camp will be held in Bad Haring, an Austrian town that is situated close to the German border. The team will stay at the Hotel Das Sieben for the duration of the camp. This will be Al-Sadd’s second visit to Bad Haring, after training at the same venue last season. The town, which is known for its mountains and health tourism, is just 45 kms away from Munich.

The Bad Haring camp will be preceded by the launch of Al-Sadd’s preparations for the new season in Doha, with the players having their first session on July 1 after their return following the summer break. In Doha, the players will work on physical and technical training before the coaches choose the final pre-season squad for the Bad Haring camp.

Al-Sadd ended the 2017-18 season by reaching the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League. The Wolves are now set to play Esteghlal in the first leg of the quarterfinal in Tehran on August 27.
