Al-Sadd resume training to prepare for Al-Shahaniya
The Al-Sadd first team resumed training at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium main pitch on Wednesday evening, as part of the preparations for the QNB Stars League Round 2 game against Al-Shahaniya.
The game is set to be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday, with kickoff slated for 7:20 PM. The players had been given a day’s rest on Tuesday, following their return from Riyadh after the AFC Champions League quarterfinal first leg game against Al-Nassr.
The coaching staff, led by Xavi Hernandez, held a meeting with the players before the start of Wednesday’s session, speaking to them about the importance of the upcoming game, which will be followed by an international break.
During the session, the players worked on physical exercises before moving on to training with the ball. Meanwhile, South Korean midfielder Nam Tae-hee continued to recuperate after suffering a muscle injury during the Sheikh Jassim Cup game against Al-Duhail.
