Al-Sadd reserves lose 0-5 to Al-Arabi in the QatarGas League

The Al-Sadd reserve team suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Al-Arabi reserves in the QatarGas League Round 5 match which was played on Sunday at the Al-Sailiya Club ground.

The loss meant that Al-Sadd remains with 4 points from 5 games in the QGL.

The first half had ended with Al-Arabi in the lead by a single goal courtesy of Nasser Ibrahim in the 19th minute. The same player went on to score his second goal in the 46th minute to double the lead before Wagner Renar scored a brace (54′, 67′) to make it 4-0 to Al-Arabi. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalfan completed the 5-0 defeat with the last goal in the 80th minute.

Al-Sadd reserves played with the following XI: Ali Faiz, Ezzat Jaddou, Ahmed Sohail, Khaled Al-Nuaimi, Ayoob Mashhoor, Gaser Yahya, Musab Kheder, Khaled Ali, Mohammed Waad, Khalifa Mohammed.

Abdulrahman Al-Korbi, Ahmed Al-Jelhem and Abdullah Al-Ansari came on as substitutes in the second half.
