Al-Sadd kick off preparations for new season

Al-Sadd launched their preparations for the upcoming 2019-20 season, with the first training session that was held on Sunday evening at the club’s training facility.

Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali, head of football, was present to oversee the session, in addition to other management officials.

Sunday’s session was held without the team’s international players, who have been given a break until July 14, when they will join the squad in Spain for the overseason training camp.

The session was held under the supervision of Ivan Torres, who worked on the fitness of the players as they look to be in top condition.

The team is now scheduled to hold daily sessions until the departure to Girona, Spain on July 14. The camp will be held between the 14th and 29th of July, after which the team will return to Doha for the final phase of preseason training ahead of the AFC Champions League Round of 16 clash with Al-Duhail.
