Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session from 5:30 PM on Monday, as part of the preparations for the upcoming QSL Round 10 game against Al-Rayyan. The match is set to kick off at 6:10 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Wednesday.

The Wolves go into the game sitting in third place in the league standings with 21 points (6 wins and 3 draws) from 9 games. In their last league game, Al-Sadd defeated Al-Khor 1-0.

As for Al-Rayyan, the defending champions are currently in fifth place in the table with 16 points.

The Al-Sadd players were all in high spirits during the session on Monday, with the team looking to maintain the winning run and stay in pursuit of the top spot.

Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira began the session by implementing the warmup and fitness routine, which was followed by technical and tactical training. Focus was given to the team’s attack with the application of some attacking moves, be it from the wings or from deep. Meanwhile, the team also gave a lot of importance to practicing dead ball situations and shots at goal from outside the box, as these could turn out to be the main tools of victory in crucial games.
