Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for Al-Kharaitiyat

The Al-Sadd football first team held their main training session on Friday at the club’s training facility, as part of the preparation for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 1 game against Al-Kharaitiyat, which is set to be played on Sunday, the 5th of August at the Khalifa International Stadium.

The Wolves go into the game in high spirits after an intense pre-season camp in Austria and then in Doha. The team played three friendlies during the overseas camp, during which the coaching staff worked on deciding their options for the starting lineup.

Sunday’s session saw the players fight it out in a practice match among themselves, as the coaches looked to make their final decisions with regards to the lineup for the game against Al-Kharaitiyat.

Abdelkarim suspended

Al-Sadd defender Abdelkarim Hassan will miss the game against Al-Kharaitiyat due to suspension, after being sent off against Al-Duhail in the HH Emir Cup final.
