Abdullah Al-Breik: The beginning is crucial, we have great confidence in the players

Al-Sadd first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik spoke of the team management’s great confidence in the players’ ability to perform well and achieve victories in all the competitions this season.

Speaking to the club website on the sidelines of the main training session ahead of the season opener against Al-Kharaitiyat, Al-Breik said: “We have great confidence in the players. The first match is crucial and winning it will give a huge boost to the players to continue winning and improve so as to reach their peak levels.”

He added: “We must take into consideration the importance of all the games. The players must be focused on that and give their best when they play all these games and not just against the leading teams.”

“All the games in the league are tough. The game against Al-Kharaitiyat is the beginning of a long campaign that will feature many tough challenges both at home and Asia, and we are capable of overcoming them.”

Al-Breik concluded by saying: “We have a season full of challenges lying ahead. The Al-Sadd fans will be our biggest support in this season, and we await their support in all the games.”
